Veggie burger is prepared from vegetables (like corn), almond, mushrooms, tofu. Unlike other forms of burger where meat or animal product forms the primary ingredients, here it is replaced with the vegetables. The real inventor of this dish is controversial as there are many claimants over this. The veggie burgers are very famous in the nations where vegetarian people exists more like that of in Asian nations. As vegetables are a good source of minerals and other vitamins it gives a complete nutrition to the non-meat eaters. Veggie burger are also popular among the other foodies who prefer non-veg dishes as they feel there are some twist in the veggie burger over their regular choice of meat. The way described here will give an easy path in preparing the most delightful veggie burger which is very authentic in taste, directly at home without going to the restaurant.

Veg Burger Recipe

Ingredients
Mushroom -200 gms
Almond – 50 gms
Tofu – 200 gms
Salt- as per taste
Garlic- 1
Mayonnaise – 2 table-spoon
Eggs – 2 (optional)
Spring onion – 1 cup (finely chopped)
Bread crumbs – 2 table spoon
Red chili powder – 1 table-spoon
Carrot- 1 small size (finely chopped )
Butter – 1 table-spoon
Tomato sauce – As per taste
Cabbage leaves – 2 small sized

Procedure:
1) Take a pan and then roast all the ingredients (mushroom, almond, tofu, carrot)

2) In a mixture grinder, put all the roasted ingredients and to it add salt, garlic, red chili, mayonnaise, eggs (optional), cheese, spring onion, bread crumbs then mix them well till each individual they are non recognizable.

3) Take out the mixture once it is done then add a table-spoon of butter to it and mix well.

4) With the help of hands take a small amount from the mixture and give a shape of medium size ball and press slightly in the middle to flat the ball & give it a flat circle look.

5) On the grill now put the patty and let it get grilled for around 5 minutes on a medium flame on both the sides.

6) Once it is done then take the burger bread (bun) and cut it in between so as to make a base & a top of the burger, put the bread over the pan for sometime so as to give it a light crisp.

7) Apply the mayonnaise and tomato sauce over the inside surface of the bread (bun) and put the cabbage leaves / lettuce leaves and tomatoes over it.

8) Put the cutlet to it and then close the burger with the top part of the bread (bun).

Note: The Veggie burger is ready to be served as a full course meal along with hot chips or French fries.
