I want my daughter to be proud of me and look up to me. I think early on in my pregnancy I realized that to be the mom I want to be, I had to change my life, and that’s what I’m doing.

My daughter has made the darkness in my heart light up brighter than i ever thought possible my daughter gives me a reason to live and try each and every day i cannot thank our lord enough for blessing me with her and as blessings come, so do disappointments there are trials and rewards throughout everyone’s life my daughter had helped me through the most difficult times of my life. I can pray she will allow me to be there for hers.

When a mother quarrels with a daughter, she has a double dose of unhappiness hers from the conflict, and empathy with her daughter’s from the conflict with her. Throughout her life a mother retains this special need to maintain a good relationship with her daughter.

When my children remember their childhood, I want only for them to remember that their mother gave it her all. She worried too much, she failed at times and she did not always get it right… but she tried her hardest to teach them about kindness, love, compassion and honesty. Even if she had to learn it from her own mistakes, she loved them enough to keep going—even when things seemed hopeless. Even when life knocked her down. I want them to remember me as the woman who always got back up.
