Brighten up and decorate your home on special occasions and festivals with these gorgeous glowing Wax lanterns.

Requirements:
> Metal Bowl
> Paraffin wax : 1 Kg or 2.2 pounds
> Stearin: 1/2 cup
> Large Plastic container: 1 (diameter at least 6inch/15cm or you can also use container of shape in which you wanna make your lanterns)
> Cooking oil spray
> Metal cup to pour wax
> Metal scraper to smooth out edges
> Candles 1/3 of the height of lantern

Instructions:
1) Put pieces of paraffin wax in metal bowl and heat it over gas stove. Keep a check as in case of overheating it can catch fire.

2) Add 1/2 cup Stearin in it and heat until mixture become completely transparent. Turn off and the heat and allow the wax to cool for 10 minutes

3) Spray a coat of cooking oil in plastic container and pour in the melted wax carefully with metal cup.

4) Fill the wax to the top and wait until wax sets 1 cm around the edges. After this use a knife to draw around the edges. Pour the excess wax out into a separate bowl.

5) Gently wriggle the edges of container to loosen the solid wax and lift wax lantern out.

6) Use a heated metal scrapper to flatten out rough spots.

7) Place the lit candle with not more than 1/3 height of lantern in it. Turn off the light and enjoy!
