I’m writing to Turkey. I’m veterinary technician.
Different eyes cats are our country’s important animals.
But; all of these white cats aren’t Ankara (Angora) cats.
Ankara is our capitol and middle of Turkey.
İf these cats have LONG HAIR (sometimes only yellow points or lines on his/her ear or tail); yes, it is Ankara cat.
But have SHORT HAIR (absolutely white, never point, never line) , it is Van cat.
Van is the city in east of Turkey.

Our country’s other important animals are Kangal Dogs. They’re gorgeous giants. They from Sivas city.
Our country’s other important animals are Çatalburun Dogs. They have two noses, I’m serious. They from Adana city, Tarsus town.
And Ankara Rabbits… (very long hair)

And Bald İbis Birds… (They from south-east Turkey)
They’re most important endemic animals in our country.
We have other endemic animals but too long and I have not got a long time…

I have a black and white short haired domestic cat who had kittens. She had 8 white kittens. One looks exactly like the turkish angola. I dnt know how this happened. Im pretty sure the father was just a domestic cat also. The mama cat got out and got pregnant. I named the kitten Gracie shes beautiful. Wish I could sena a picture
