You’re photos are not correct. Every photo you have of the front pulpit is NOT the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris. It is of the Notre Dame Basillica in Montreal Quebec Canada.
If you’re going to post such content you should probably make sure you’re correct.
All the pictures with the blue background light and the blue floor are from the Montreal´s cathedral, in Canada, whose name is also Notre Dame.
Bien à vous..!
This page is bizarre, because it is so inaccurate. The first photo–and the subsequent ones like it–depicting a church with a beautiful blue background is of the Basilique de Notre Dame IN MONTREAL. It happens to be the favorite church anywhere that I have ever visited (I’ve never been to France) but for that reason I know it well. Notre Dame de Paris is represented here too; it’s the one WITHOUT the blue background. A cursory look will reveal that these two edifices do not resemble each other at all. Someone posted a link to this page on FB and I immediately could see the problem. You should fix this and just keep the Paris ones.
Thanks for the beautiful pictures… but they are NOT ALL of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Most of the interior images above are actually of Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. And at least one of the images is Notre Dame in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Please ensure that you have done your research and appropriately attributed your photos to the correct edifice.
Some of your photos are the Notre Dame in Montreal Canada and some the Notre Dame in Paris.
Half these interior photos are of the Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal
Half of these pictures are not of Notre Dame de Paris, but of Notre Dame de Montreal.
A few of these photos are not of Notre Dame but a nearby smaller church – renowned for its large expanses of stained glass.
Can someone turn these pics into a Calender & raise funds to rebuild the cathedral ?
You’re confonding interior pictures of Notre-Dame de Montréal with Notre Dame de Paris. You can see the pictures where the roof is not high up are from Montreal and not Paris.
The world weeps as we saw the destruction of this magnificent place of worship. I will never step into Notre Dame Cathedral. I’m sure it is a grand place to visit and to worship God in one of those chairs.
I am curious however, My question is this: Do they have services there where people find God as their Savior or is it a place of just finite beauty? Have thousands been saved in this temple of beauty? I sincerely hope that the answer is an outstanding YES.
The pictures do not all seem to be of the same place despite the titles they carry. My recollections of the interior are like the rather plain images towards the end of the series shown. The very lovely widely coloured artistic images at the start of the series look quite different and contain a gallery of saints not shown in the last group of pictures. If they are of the same place is there an explanation?
As others here have mentioned, most of these photos are of The Basilica Notre Dame, not the Notre Dame Paris which is made of stone, looks entirely different. My grandfather was a sexton in this Church (Montreal) and my Mother was baptized and confirmed there, so it holds special meaning to me. Please correct this.
